Brief Description:
The programme aims to produce highly qualified specialists capable of providing an in-depth study of medieval period and medieval Georgian, Byzantine and Western European history, philosophy, theology, history of literature, language and art, as well as comprehending and studying medieval cultural heritage in an international, regional and cultural context.

Occupational fields:
Graduates will be qualified to:

• pursue doctoral studies;
• work in educational and scientific-research institutions;
•  work in organisations concerned with cultural heritage;
• work in museums and other cultural institutions;
•  work in the field of journalism and tourism.
