Brief Description:

The objective of the communication and speech-language therapy Master’s degree programme is to produce highly-qualified therapists at communication, language and speech with skills and abilities to identify complications and difficulties in communication, assess them, draw up and implement the intervention scheme, as well as provide children/adults with consulting services, promote inclusive practice or research, and spread knowledge.   

Employment opportunities:
Graduates can serve as:

  • speech-language therapists at children/adult medical clinics for patients with temporary and chronicle disorders in sucking/swallowing, aphasia, as well as communication;
  • speech-language therapists in rehabilitation centers for children/adults with special educational needs;
  • therapists at nursery-schools or secondary schools of Georgia;
  • non-governmental organisations that aim to protect and advocate the rights of people with special needs private therapists.
