Prerequisites for admission to the Master's program in Psychology:
Passing the Unified Masters Examinations:
Those wishing to study in the Master's program in Psychology must pass the Unified Master's Examinations. The student must get a positive grade in all four parts of the exam and his/her grade must be no less than 9 in at least two parts of the exam.
Have at least a Bachelor's degree:
Those wishing to continue their studies in Clinical Psychology must have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and candidates wishing to enroll in the Educational Psychology and Social Psychology must have a bachelor's degree or an equivalent academic degree.
Awarded academic degree:
- Master of Social Psychology
- Master of Educational Psychology
- Master of Clinical Psychology
Brief Description
Upon completion of the program, the student will be qualified to specialize in Educational, Clinical or Social Psychology. In Clinical Psychology, the student will have an opportunity to specialize in a subspecialty in either Child or Adolescent Clinical Psychology. In addition, while undertaking the course, students will have the opportunity to study theoretical issues as well as different research methods simplifying the process of writing a Master’s thesis.

Upon completion of the program, the graduate:
- demonstrates extensive knowledge of current issues / challenges in the field of psychology as well as in-depth and systematic knowledge in the field of educational psychology;
- can carry out assessments and interventions of appropriate difficulty in the field of educational psychology applying relevant theories and approaches;
- can define research problem and hypothesis in the field of educational psychology, independently plan and carry out research using contemporary research methods;
- can adhere to ethical norms in the field in research and practical activities;
- demonstrates written and oral communication skills; uses modern technologies and adheres to the norms of academic integrity in professional and research activities;
- can effectively evaluate and monitor his/her own activities through self-reflection and self-regulation and maintain effort for continuous professional development.
