By the decision of the university board of student projects, the university funding has been awarded to the project application submitted by the initiative group of Civil Engineering bachelor’s program students. The project aimed to arrange a field tour of Vardzia and Vani Caves for the students of the Civil Engineering Program to gain experience in carrying out geodetic measurements in the actual setting.

During the tour, which took place on May 27-28, students had the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge acquired in sessions and conduct measurements in the actual setting.

Any student, student union, or club at Ilia State University is eligible to write a project and obtain the necessary support or financial resources for its implementation from the university.

Every year, several dozen student-initiated projects receive university support.
