Electrical and Electronic Engineering Student Club
Electrical and Electronic Engineering Student Club was established at the end of 2023. A student of any faculty of Ilia State University can become a member of the club.
The club's objectives are to ensure:
- Enhancing knowledge of electronic engineering for Ilia State University students or for those interested;
- Improvement of outdated tools-gadgets and designing and production of new ones based on the gained experience and knowledge;
- Optimum use of university engineering study facilities, repairing produced devices or if not repairable, disassembling and reusing old parts.
Tasks and activities:
- Organizing a meeting in the club at a selected time, where the goals and objectives of the club will be discussed. Club members will be able to get to know each other, discuss common issues. The main action plan for the semester will be prepared by voting, which can be modified during the academic year.
- Organizing meetings twice a week, during which the club members will study electronic engineering equipment, take experimental calculations, share knowledge and work on tools-gadgets according to the action plan drawn up at the first meeting.
- Proper use of university electrical and electronic engineering equipment and their classification into three categories (working, repairable and non-repairable). Based on the gathered data, a decision is made regarding the use of the equipment.
Club membership and criteria:
- Only students of Ilia State University can join the club;
- English language proficiency is required at the B1 or B2 level.
- In order to work on problem-solving tasks students are required to have basic algebra skills and knowledge of various numbers (real, irrational, rational etc)
