Rules for inviting persons and holding events at Ilia State University

A person wanting to hold an event at or to invite a guest to the university must write an application to the Rector in the chancellery of Ilia State University (Cholokashvili Avenue 3/5) one week prior to the event or send it to the e-mail address: info@iliauni.edu.ge.

The application should indicate the content/theme of the event, the first and last names of the invited guest, the type of audience and space the event will be aimed at, the estimated number of attendees and full details of the applicant.

Holding an event that contradicts the principles of freedom of opinion and expression, as well as academic freedom of teaching and research; is discriminatory and violates the rights of any person or group regardless of their social, ethnic, religious, linguistic and worldview affiliation is prohibited at Ilia State University. Using the academic process for political purposes and political agitation, religious indoctrination and proselytizing is also not allowed.
