Rules for submission and funding of student projects at Ilia State University
Students, members of the Student Self-Government and student clubs of Ilia State University must appeal to the head of the university administration for funding of student projects and events. In particular, the project application should be sent for the head of administration at the following e-mail: info@iliauni.edu.ge in a predetermined form (Appendix #1 project application form).
Applications for student projects are considered by 2 permanent commissions:
- Student projects with a budget of 300 (or less) GEL are considered by the commission that consists of 3 members: the deputy head of the administration in public relations, marketing and student services, the head of the legal service and the head of the student affairs department.
- Student projects with a budget that exceeds 300 GEL are considered by the commission with the following members: the deputy head of the administration in public relations, marketing and student services, the head of the legal service, the head of the student affairs department and the dean of all educational units.
If the project does not require a tender, the project application must be submitted no later than 10 working days before the commission meeting.
If the project requires a tender, the project application must be submitted no later than 30 working days before the commission meeting.
In the case of a positive decision by the commissions, the project will be presented to the head of the administration to fund the project by following the relevant procedures.
The author(s) of the project will be notified about the funding/non-funding of the project no later than 5 working days after the commission meeting.
After review and approval, changes to the project will be possible only in exceptional cases, based on the written consent of the Commission.
