Carlo Ginzburg

Carlo Ginzburg - noted Italian historian and proponent of the field of microhistory. Author of many studies, collection of which has been published by ISU in Georgian under the title "Footprints.Myths.Microhistory ". Carlo Ginzburg was awarded doctorate degree from University of Pisa in 1961. He taught in Bologna (Italy) and the University of California (US). Ginzburg has made important contributions to the development of Art History, Literacy Studies and Historiography.
