Christian Körner

Christian Körner - Professor, world's most renown scientist in the field of Plant ecology. Member of several Academies (Europe, Austria and Germany), also chief editor of the international scientific journals, director of a number of international scientific and environmental organizations, author of 409 scientific publications and several books. He has been actively collaborating with the Georgian colleagues for almost 40 years. With his support, book “Alpine Plant Life: Functional Plant Ecology of High Mountain Ecosystems" was translated into Georgian and published in ISU in 2008, which is widely used not only for the MA academic courses, but also with PhD students and scientists.
