Ana de Palacio y del Valle-Lersundi
Ana de Palacio y del Valle-Lersundi - Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain during 2002-2004. She is expert in European Law by profession, and spent eight years (1994–2002) with the European Parliament where she has chaired the Legal Affairs and Internal Market Committee and the Justice and Home Affairs Committee. She was the first woman to serve as Spain’s Foreign Minister. In 2004-2006 she was a Chairman of the European Union Affairs in Spain. Since, June 2008 she has been senior vice-president in department of External Relations and Marketing of Areva (Europe's largest nuclear power company).
