On 12th of November, 2019, Carl Friedrich Lehmann-Haupt International Doctoral Program participant, Ekaterine Nanitashvili, held a talk by using the Three Minutes Thesis format on her ongoing research on Argument Structure in Georgian Sign Language (GESL). A lively discussion and curious questions that followed the presentation revealed the interest of the audience in sign languages. This format allows participants to introduce important aspects of their research and to receive feedback from their fellow doctoral students. Again the doctoral forum turned out to be a highly informative and beneficial event for both the presenter and the audience.
