On 10th of September 2019, program participant, Ana Lolua held talk using Three Minutes Thesis (3MT) format on her ongoing comparative study on National Museums in Georgia and Ukraine. Ana explores museal representations of Soviet History since late socialism until today with special emphasis on the symbolic language and visual form of exhibiting recent past. After presenting the structure of her research, its main questions and methodology, Ana engaged audience in a discussion about politics of history and how it is managed and told by and through the state institutions. In the end, she received some useful feedback on the availability of photo and video resources at different archives in Tbilisi.
