Youth Technology Clubs Network Meeting

Youth Tech Clubs Network funded and supported by the European Union for Georgia (EU4G), the Project is implemented by a consortium comprised of Ilia State University (ISU), Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA), Georgian ICT Cluster, and Innovative Education Foundation (IEF).

The Project aims at designing and establishing school and VET institutions-based Coding and Tech Entrepreneurship Clubs in 100 locations across Georgia during the next 3 years.

The project monitoring visit was hold on June 9 this year. The meeting was attended by all project partners and representative from Kutaisi Fablab. During the meeting were discussed the goals and objectives of the project and the activities already implemented.

Project activities:

  • developed web platform
  • 25 schools and 7 GITA centers were selected
  • Three main directions were selected
  • A curriculum and materials for these three areas have been developed
  • School host teachers and trainers were selected
  • Clubs started working

The future plans and cooperation of the project were discussed at the meeting.
