Week of February 18-24th, 2022 was dedicated to Plagiarism Awareness activities within the consortium member HEIs of the project 18-24 Academic Integrity for Quality Teaching and Learning in Higher Education Institutions in Georgia (INTEGRITY; ref# 585841-EPP-1-2017-1- GE-EPPKA2-CBHE-SP). More specifically the following awareness raising campaign/events were implemented:

On February 18th Batumi State Maritime Academy hosted Student Scientific Conference. The opening of the conference was dedicated to inform students about types of academic misconduct and the policies that the academy has against plagiarism.

On February 19th Ilia State University once again highlighted the principles of academic integrity within students by broadcasting the animated wideo that has been designed within the frames of INTEGRITY project. Additionally, on 23d of February students were offered an online course about plagiarism available at Online Iliauni / ონლაინ ილიაუნი.

On February 19th Samtskhe javakheti State University organized a discussion for students on the topic of “Academic Integrity and prevention of Plagiarism at Samtskhe Javakheti State University during pandemic: challenges and preventive measures” .

On February 19th Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University organized online meeting on the topic of Academic Integrity within the University. The same meeting has been held with students of College “Prestige” as well as high school pupils of municipality public school.

On February 19th Shota Meskhia Zugdidi State University organized online meeting with students to discuss and raise awareness about various types of academic misconduct and measures of preventing plagiarism.

On February 19th Shota Rustaveli Batumi State University conducted vebinar for high school pupils discuss and raise awareness about various types of academic misconduct and measures of preventing plagiarism. The topic of the meeting was “let’s fight against plagiarism together”.

On February 19th Head of Academic Writing Center Ms. Tatia Chokoraia contacted training on “How to Write a proper Thesis” at Caucasus University.
