On March 7, Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) in partnership with the Ilia State University conducted a scenario building workshop in Tbilisi. The event was held within the framework of Horizon Europe Project “EMBRACE” and it aimed to develop the recommendations for the EU decision-makers to improve the EU’s policy towards Georgia and enhance its flexibility.
The representatives of civil society, media and academia in Georgia took part in the workshop. The workshop was led by Wojciech Przybylski, the political analyst and the editor in chief of the platform Visegrad Insight.
The key findings of the workshop will be summarized in the policy brief and presented to the EU decision-makers in the near future.
The workshop was conducted as a part of the EMBRACE (Embracing change: Overcoming obstacles and advancing democracy in the European Neighbourhood) project that aims at analysing blockages to democratisation, identifies ways to overcome them, and suggests new policy tools to improve the European Union’s democracy promotion (EUDP) in the European neighbourhood.
