Condolences to the Charles University in Prague

In connection with the tragic events that took place at Charles University in Prague, on behalf of Ilia State University, we offer our deepest condolences and sympathy to students, family members of the victims and the colleagues of the Charles University.

We are profoundly shocked over the tragic events at your campus and extend our solidarity and support in this most difficult of situations. It is inconceivable to believe that something so terrible could happen at a university, a place dedicated to peaceful self-reflection, pursuit of knowledge, and cultivation of personal growth through education. 

Our thoughts are with the families of the victims, as well as those who have been injured in this senseless act of violence.
