Center for Personal and Professional Development of Ilia State University is announcing admission to Cambridge IELTS Academic Preparation certificate course: Getting Ready for IELTS Exam (Academic Module).
About the Course
IELTS Academic Preparation Course aims at preparing learners for the Cambridge International Exam - IELTS academic module. To achieve this, a tailored learning environment will be created supporting the development and mastering of all four language skills, general and academic vocabulary and grammatical structures required for the exam; Learners will get acquainted with latest exam strategies and test tips and will develop the necessary techniques for passing the exam.
It should be noted that all four language skills are closely related to one other. Learners can easily see that, for example, vocabulary or grammatical forms memorized while doing a reading task, can also be used in speaking or writing. More precisely, a circle of correlated elements is drawn - this will be demonstrated in each subsequent week session, in the performance of an exam-oriented and appropriate activities - Exam Focus.
At the end of the course, with maximum compliance with the examination requirements, an IELTS simulation test - Mock Test (all four parts) will be held. One session after the test will be devoted to the discussion of the test results and each learner will receive individual practical advice.
Upon participation in all course activities, based on accumulated scores and the result of the simulation test, a certificate of successful completion of the course will be issued, which the learner can submit as a proof of English language knowledge equivalent to level B2.

The course will be held offline.
The course starts on June 14.
It consists of 60 contact hours distributed over 8 weeks.
Classes will be held on Tuesday and Thursday at 7 p.m. and Saturday 3:00 p.m, starting from June 14.
Session length: 2-3 hours.
The cost of the course: 900 GEL.
