To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Korea and Georgia, Iliauni organizes a Korean Week within the frames of which, Otar Berezhiani, invited Lecturer at Hankuk University, will deliver a lecture “The Korean Wave - the Creation of the Successful Policy of Cultural Export and its Benefits for South Korea”
About the Lecture
Over recent years Korean films, singers and TV shows have gained immense popularity. The speaker will discuss the policies and trends that have contributed to the popularization of the Korean culture and the benefits of so-called "Korean Wave" for the state and its population.
About the Lecturer
Otar Berezhiani has graduated from Sofia University with a degree in Oriental Studies. He has a Masters Degree in Business from Kyeong University, Seoul Korea.
He currently works in the field of international business consulting and is an Invited Lecturer at Hankuk University. He has been living in Korea for twenty years and has been actively involved in Seoul civic and public life, for which, in 2018, he was awarded the title of Honorary Citizen of Seoul.
