On January 23rd Ilia State University in collaboration with the UWE Bristol hosted an intensive ideation and startup bootcamp- Validate, focused on developing students’ enterprise skills and supporting them to create their own ventures in the creative industries.

The bootcamp was delivered as an intensive one day ‘business bootcamp’ at Ilia State University. The bootcamp guided students through the business start-up journey and equipped them with skills in business planning, ideation and pitching. 

The bootcamp was delivered by Professor Gurpreet Jagpal-the Professor and Director of the Institute for Enterprise and Entrepreneurship.

The project is funded by the British Council’s Creative Spark: Higher Education Enterprise Programme. The five-year initiative aims to help develop the creative economy and enterprise skills to support sustainable development and social welfare.

The Program is being coordinated by ISU Development Office.
