Innovation and Technology Camp for Students - Fintech

News

Ilia State University will hold an Innovative Startups Camp for students from December 1 to 4 in Bakuriani as part of the project “National Innovation Ecosystem” of the World Bank. The camp will be organized by the Georgia's Innovation and Technology Agency and the main topic will be fintech.
The camp is intended for students of any higher education institution of Georgia in the following fields:

  • Business
  • Computer Science
  • Computer Engineering
  • Information Technology

The goal of the camp is to help raise awareness of STEAM among young people so that they can better plan their careers and work on innovative products related to STEAM.

Students will have the opportunity to acquire knowledge about modern challenges related to fintech, information technology, STEAM, as well as corporate and entrepreneurial skills within the framework of the bootcamp.

Participation in the camp is free, all expenses related to participation in the camp will be fully financed for the participants (transportation from Tbilisi, living, meals, training materials, etc.).

Fablab and Pre-Accelerator Zoomout of Ilia State University will actively work with students to transform ideas into tangible “products” after the camp.
