Creative Spark Big Idea Challenge Bootcamp

On May 29th Ilia State University in collaboration with the UWE Bristol and the Aldridge Institute hosted an intensive Bootcamp in ,,Building the Pitch” for the selected teams who applied for the Creative Spark Big Idea Challenge Video Pitch Competition.

The bootcamp was delivered by David Chechelashvili-serial entrepreneur, Teona Bebia-Manager at Pre-Accelerator Zoomout and Patent and Licensing Associate at TCO and Avtandil Mghebrishvili- Fablab Iliauni Manager.

The invited participants by attending the bootcamp refined their business ideas and were guided through the pitching skills and got mentorship in building the pitch.

An enterprise video pitch competition is part of the British Council’s Creative Spark Higher Education Enterprise Programme and aims to promote the development of students’, graduates’ and young entrepreneurs’ business ideas.

After attending the bootcamp applicants were given the task to provide a 60 second video pitch with their business ideas to select the final best10 teams who will take part in the Big Idea Challenge Video Pitch International Competition.

The winners will get a share of £25,000 in cash and other prizes!

The project is funded by the British Council’s Creative Spark: Higher Education Enterprise Programme. The five-year initiative aims to help develop the creative economy and enterprise skills to support sustainable development and social welfare.

The Program is being coordinated by ISU Development Office.
