A working meeting was held at Ilia State University with the delegation of Inha University (Republic of South Korea) led by the Dean of the Global Education Projects Group, Prof. Jung Ho Kim.

The official cooperation with Inha University started in 2020 and various projects are planned in the field of teaching and popularization of Korean language, as well as the development of joint programs in the field of engineering and technology.

The parties discussed the details of the joint projects and the work plan.

Ilia State University has been offering Korean language courses to students since 2019. From 2022 it is planned to offer online courses for students. In addition, in 2022, to mark the 30th anniversary of Korean-Georgian diplomatic relations, various events are planned for university professors and students, as well as for those interested in the Korean language, culture and society.
