The project aims at revising and evaluating existing assessment methods, developing a system of teaching and evaluation that best suits students' learning needs. As a result of the project academic personnel will be trained by beneficiary Universities and introduction of new assessment tools for training programs.

On May 11-12, 2018, Samtskhe-Javakheti State University hosted the he first national meeting of Erasmus + project “Assessment Tools for new learning environments in higher education institutions - ASSET”. The meeting was attended by Ilia State University, Ivane Javakhishvili State University, Sokhumi State University, Samtskhe-Javakheti State University, and National Center for Teacher Professional Development.

During the meeting, working groups shared experiences on the use of relevant assessment Tools in higher education, and discussed the possibilities for their usage.

During the meeting the unified dissemination strategy and action plan was elaborated.
