Announcement of one Scholarship-funded Ph.D. Position within the Carl Friedrich Lehmann-Haupt International Doctoral School

Ilia State University announces a call for applications for one Ph.D. position in the doctoral program within the partnership between Georg-August-University of Göttingen and Ilia State University. The joint doctoral program gives Ph.D. students from various scientific fields the opportunity to pursue their doctoral projects within a structured Cotutelle-based framework and obtain a Ph.D. degree by each of the two universities. Funding granted by the German VolkswagenStiftung and the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia allows the allocation of a full scholarship to the Ph.D. student.
Applications must be submitted by e-mail to: doctoralschool@iliauni.edu.ge by the end of the application deadline. Please indicate “Application Ph.D. Scholarship” in the subject line.
The application deadline is June 12, 2019, 18:00 Georgian time (GET).
The English language exam at ISU, for those applicants who cannot present a sufficient proof of English language proficiency with their application, will take place on June 14, 2019, from 12:00 to 14:00 in auditorium E-209.
The German language exam (only relevant for applicants for “Religious and Cultural Studies” and “Theology”) at ISU, for those applicants who cannnot present a sufficient proof of German language proficiency with their application, will take place on June 17, 2019, from 14:00 to 16:00 in auditorium E-235.
