MEVLANA

MEVLANA Mobility Program aims to implement bilateral exchange of students and academic staff between Turkish and other countries’ Higher Education Institutions. The program is funded by the Executive Council for Higher Education of the Republic of Turkey.

BA, MA, and PhD students and academic staff of higher education institutions with a signed a bilateral Mevlana Exchange Protocol, may benefit from the Mevlana Exchange Program.

Students can benefit from the Mevlana Exchange Program for at least one semester and at most two semesters. The courses taken at host university must comply with the student’s academic program at home university. Student’s may benefit from the program only once at any stage.  

Academic staff may benefit from the program only once during an academic year and the duration may be between one week and three months. The academic activities of academic staff cannot be less than six hours a week.  

The students studying in their first year at the associate or bachelor degree and the students of the preparation programs of graduate degrees are not eligible for this program at their first semester.

For the 2018-2019 academic year Ilia State University will implement bilateral exchanges with Hacettepe University (Turkey).

Within the scope of the program students and academic staff are provided with a scholarship:

Student*       1000TL/monthly

*Travel and insurance expenses are not included.

Professor        50TL/daily

Invited Lecturer     40TL/daily
