USAID'S ENGLISH-LANGUAGE ONLINE COURSE “STRATEGIES OF NONVIOLENT MOVEMENTS - ANALYSIS OF CIVIL AND SOCIAL CAMPAIGNS” - INFORMATION MEETING

Events

An information meeting will be held about the online course “Strategies of Nonviolent Movements - Analysis of Civil and Social Campaigns” of USAID Civil Society Engagement Program at the book house “Ligamus” on December 23, at 17:00. Professor Giorgi Meladze of School of Law of Iliauni will conduct the presentation.

The course, created by the Center for Applied NonViolent Actions and Strategies (CANVAS), will start from the spring semester and will be open to students from five different universities. Within its framework, students will analyze strategies for spreading social and political ideas through non-violent actions and campaigns, deepen their knowledge about civil society and the importance of civic engagement.

The course will review the practical and theoretical aspects of social and political movements.Students will engage in discussion of modern research and cases.

Registration for the course is possible from December 20 to January 27, and third and fourth year students of the bachelor's and master's degrees can participate in it.
