PUBLIC LECTURE ON MEASURING IMPACT OF E-GOVERNANMENT: ECONOMIC, POLITICAL AND SOCIAL OUTCOMES

On April 12, at 19:00, at room A101 of Ilia State University, a public lecture on the topic „ Measuring the Impact of e-Government: Economic, Political and Social outcomes” will be held. The lecture will be led by Mihkel Solvak, researcher at Johan Skytte Institute of Political Studies, University of Tartu.
The speaker will focus on the Estonian e-Governance infrastructure and, on its example, will elaborate upon preconditions for provision of effective electronic services. He will also touch upon Estonian E-services, which, for the purposes of ensuring a more effective and fast service, has turned paper-based service system into online system, and in this way has simplified the process of data delivery.
The samples of the third generation e-services will be shown at the lecture, which by applying statistical analysis and automatic teaching tools and on the bases of the data accumulated by e-governance, make prognosis on economic and road traffic accidents.
