About Mikheil:

Mikheil Tsiklauri received his PhD degree in computational mathematics from Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University in 2003. During 2000-2012 he was teaching at Tbilisi State University and Ilia State University and was working at I. Vekua Institute of Applied Mathematics as a researcher. In 2012 he joined Missouri University of Science and Technology as a research professor. From 2017 he works at Apple as a Tech Lead. At Apple he is developing algorithms and mathematical methods to solve different Electromagnetic Problems.

About Ulrich: 

Ulrich did a Bachelor -Dipl.-Ing (FH)- in Medical Engineering in Ulm/Germany and an MSc in electronic engineering in Cardiff/Wales, followed by a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, again in Cardiff, after 5 years of industrial experience, ranging from being a freelancer to working at SIEMENS as a company with worldwide activity. After the PhD, Ulrich joined Hamilton Medical at Bonaduz/Switzerland with a focus on developing breathing machines for intensive care. For 12 years now Ulrich has been teaching as a full-time professor at the FHGR in Chur/Switzerland. Ulrich spent one term teaching at Ilia State University in the autumn of 2019.
