The Exhibition of Iliauni Architects

Today at 17:00 Ilia State University School of Engineering Program of Architecture invites you to the final exhibition of the year.

The works by freshman, sophomore and junior students will be presented.

The freshman will present the compositions done in two and three dimension and the projects of small architectural objects. The function of the proposed assignment is selected according to student's desires and interests.

Furthermore, the copies of the works by famous architects (drawings and models composed in gypsum) and research material will be displayed and later the project for changing and developing of these projects.

The sophomore will present house projects for one family. The task of the students was to properly layout objects in the given territory, proper planning and suitable form creation. They will also present the project of ten place hotel.

The junior students will display the plan of development of Ilia State University's territory.

Project Includes:

 

  1. Research part which includes plan of the analysis of the territory - transport traffic scheme, the layout of household trading and residential facilities near the territory, the floors of surrounding buildings, the connection with Vake Park;
  2. Urban planning problems;
  3. Landscape development / Activation of the territory;
  4. The problems of sustainable development

 

The works of international workshop will be also displayed. This workshop was held in Germany, Potsdam and was organized by the local architectural school. Along with student's works you could also see the creations of famous architects. The architects from Georgia, Korea, America and Germany were participating in the workshop. Students created the developmental plan of Potsdam Agrarian University.

Also the winner projects of the architectural competition announced by the "Energy Efficiency Center Georgia" in the frames of the project "Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Projects for Georgian Communities" which is financed by BP Georgia and center's other partners in the sphere of oil and gas will be presented. Landscape project - miniature garden and the project of amenities of university's territory.
