“The European Neighborhood in Perspective”

Public Expert Round Table with

European, Georgian and Ukrainian Experts

7 October 2014, 11:00a.m. – 06.30 p.m. at Ilja State University, Tbilisi

On the 7th of October 2014, from 11:00 to 18:30, Ilia State University will host The Public Expert Round Table “The European Neighborhood in Perspective” (Address: Choloqashvili Ave., 3/5, Tbilisi, Georgia, Conference Hall G106).

The event is organized by the research consortium MAXCAP (“Maximizing the Integration Capacity of the European Union”), which is funded under the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme for Research, in partnership with Ilia State University. MAXCAP features a nine-partner consortium of academic and research centers from all over Europe which investigates the consequences of current and future EU enlargements for the Union’s internal and external integration capacity. MAXCAP aims at producing policy recommendations on how to maximize the EU’s integration capacity with respect to enlargement and the neighborhood policy, including specific policy tools and options.

Participating in the event will be the decision-makers and leading members from the central administration; academia, civil society organizations, think tanks and media, as well as representatives from the EU Delegation and other European institutions and diplomatic representations in Georgia.
The conference language will be English.
