On May 2, 16:00, Ilia State University will host a public lecture on “The Beginnings of Latvian National Communism: Joining the Komsomol under Stalin” with participation of the International School for Caucasus Studies, within the framework of the TEMPUS project “Development of Model Doctoral Schools in Ukraine and Georgia”. The lecture will be delivered by Professor Geoffrey Swain, Head of the Department of Russian and East European Studies at the University of Glasgow.

The lecture will be delivered in English language.
