On October 24, at 10:30 a.m., the South Caucasus Regional Conference "Teaching History: Education and Identity Construction in the South Caucasus" on Memory Politics will be opened at Ilia State University.

Speakers discuss methods of teaching history, historical narratives and discuss current debates about the role of history in youth identity formation.

The Heinrich Boell Foundation, together with its partners, supports research and discussions on the important topic of Memory Politics and contributes to the process of democratic development in the countries of the South Caucasus.
