Facilitator’s Bio

I have been an entrepreneur since 2004, when I founded my first company. It was an animation studio focused on architectural animation. Since then I have worked in CG/VFX industry and also co-founded the first CG association in Georgia. I have been working on many projects aimed at the development of tech fields in Georgia including educational standards, a workshop series for artists, and the first ever computer graphics festival. I have helped create more than 10 vocational education curricula for colleges in the technology field.

Since 2015 I have been fully focused on my current venture: VRex Immersive, a startup creating VR marketing platform for the travel industry, enabling travel professionals to use VR content for sales and marketing. We are one of the first companies in the world to work on VR solutions for the travel industry and have been selected as a top 50 startups out of 7,000 by Startup Grind and Google for startups in 2018.

Knowledge sharing is one of the most important aspects of entrepreneurship in my opinion. For this reason I have been a part of numerous mentorship programs and have mentored dozens of young entrepreneurs along the way. At the same time, I am always looking for new knowledge and mentorship from my peers as well as more experienced entrepreneurs. This hunger for knowledge motivates me to move forward.
