Sunday School - Ilia State University

In 2020, ISU is launching Sunday School courses for students aged 14 to 17

Goal of the Project

Results from PISA (the OECD  Programme for International Students Assessment) this year have further evidenced the fact that the state fails to deliver education responding to the requirements of our time.

According to the study, Georgian students markedly lag behind their counterparts from developed countries in reading literacy, as well as in mathematics and science.

ISU is willing to respond to the challenge by introducing Sunday School aiming at developing students’creating and critical thinking skills, and enhancing their knowledge of humans, society and nature.

The school will be of great benefit to students committed to self-development.
