Series of Lectures on Significant Issues in Bioethics

Events

A series of lectures on significant issues in bioethics will be held in Ilia State University on 1-3 April, 2014, 4 p.m. Hall A 101. Lectures will be followed by discussions. Lectures will be held in the scope of Ilia State University financed project "Issues of Bioethics and Medical Ethics in Georgia".

Lectures will cover the following topics:

1. Moral problems of reproductive medicine. Re-evaluating values from natural context
2. Ethics of attitudes towards animals. Justification strategies in philosophical ethics
3. Ethics committee, ethic commission and moral quality management. Social ethics, just and collegial structures of clinical environment.

Georgian translation will be provided during the lectures. Attendance is free. Detailed information on every lecture is available in the attached pdf file.
