On July 22, Ilia State University Hall A 101 (Chavchavadze Ave.32) will host a one-day seminar dedicated to the topic “Electronic Libraries”. The seminar will be carried out by Professor Vittore Casarosa (University of Pisa). 

The seminar is planned within the frameworks of the summer school “Information Management” implemented under the Tempus project.  The following issues will be discussed at the meeting: development of libraries and information technologies, metadata and its standards, institutional repositories and open archives initiative, information presentation and etc.
