On December 23, at 17:30, at Ilia State University E 207 room (Cholokashvili Ave. #3/5), within Iliauni scientific-research report, scientific-research projects will be presented by Ilia State University Institute of Zoology.

One scientific-research project will be presented.

A report on the topic of Diversity, Monitoring and Biological Control of Natural and Agro-Ecological Animals will be given by associate professor Giorgi Bakhtadze.

Annotation

The project is from fundamental, conservation and applied research area within which Georgia’s natural and agro-ecological system animal diversity is taught. On the basis of fundamental research, modern state of animals will be assessed and species in need of conservation will be singled out. Invasion areas, vulnerable species and territories are also being exposed, genetic diversity studied and large-scale monitoring system initiated.
