Ilia State University will host a public lecture by Sezgin Boynik and Minna Henriksson on the topic: “Nationalism and Contemporary Art”.

What is the relationship between contemporary art and nationalism? How in general terms does an ideological state apparatus operate within the field of contemporary art? What possibilities can contemporary art offer on emancipation from nationalist ideologies?

The lecture will take place on January 23, 16:00. Venue: Ilia State University, room G 106.
