On April 11, at 18.30, Prof. Manfred Nowak will deliver a public lecture on “Torture in the 21st century – Experience of the UN Special Rapporteur on Torture”.

Manfred Nowak, Professor at the University of Vienna and Director of the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Human Rights, is one of the renowned human rights experts. His academic career includes 400 publications. He was a UN Expert on Missing Persons in former Yugoslavia in 1994-1997 and a Judge at the Human Rights Chamber in Bosnia from 1996 to 2003.

Nowadays, Prof. Nowak is a UN Special Rapporteur on Torture.

The lecture will be delivered in English Language.
