Public Lecture by Marilyn M. Rubin

On May 22, at 6.00 p.m., Ilia State University will host a public lecture on “Shaping Public Budgets in the context of Public Policy” by Marilyn M. Rubin, Professor at John Jay College of the City University of New York.

Venue:  G. Tsereteli 2, Hall G 106, Ilia State University

Attendance is free.

Dr. Marilyn M. Rubin is a Professor of Public Administration and Economics at John Jay College of the City of New York where she teaches courses in Fiscal Policy, Economics and Research Methods and is Director of the College’s MPA Program. Dr. Rubin is currently a member of the Economic Advisory Board to the New York State Assembly Ways and Means Committee and the Property Tax Advisory Board to the New York City Department of Finance. She has authored several publications on fiscal policy and budget-related issues. During his career, he held high-level positions in local, state and federal state institutions, United Nations, New York/New Jersey Transport Networks.

The meeting is organized within the framework of the cooperative agreement between Ilia State University and Columbia University, under the auspice of Policy, Advocacy and Civil Society Development in Georgia (G-PAC) program of EWMI and USAID.
