On April 18, 13.00, Ilia State University (University str.2) will host a presentation of Mountain Guides School of Georgia.

In spring of 2011, Iliauni will offer the mountain guides certificate courses to all interested persons and also, in 2012 the mentioned courses will be listed in the professional programs of the College of Sports.

The development of mountain tourism is one of the priorities in the economic agenda of the country. Accordingly, the professional staff training is an important component for the development process.  

The mountain guide leads rock climbing, hiking; ski and mountain tours, takes responsibility for the security of the participants as well as plans and organizes tours.
