On May 2, 15:00, Ilia State University will host a presentation of the research “Pharmacy Market Research” by Iliauni Business Review (IBR).  Venue: G. Tsereteli 2, Former Encyclopedia Building, conference hall G 106.

Iliauni Business Review picked up the following huge and network pharmacies for the research:  Aversi; PSP; City Pharma and Pharma Center; Pharmadepo; Neopharma; 36, 6; People’s Pharmacy and Pharma Guide.

The research aimed to conduct the comparative analysis of prices for the same medicines fixed by the pharmacies operating in the market of Georgia.  According to the obtained outcomes, the research showed the most expensive and cheapest pharmacies supplying medicines to consumers. It is planned to familiarize a broad public with the research outcomes.

Iliauni Business Review stated that if the research outcomes be generalized, we will get the following results:  if a family buys the most often used packet of medicines in the cheapest pharmacy, they must pay 62 per cent more to buy the same medicines in the most expensive pharmacy.
