On July 21, 17:30, Ilia State University Hall A 101 (Chavchavadze Ave. 32) will host a public lecture on “Long-Term Preservation of Digital Objects” within the frameworks of the summer school organized under the TEMPUS project:”New Masters Program in Library and Information Sciences”. 

The various aspects such as search system of text, audio and video data, preservation of digital objects as well as creation of customer-oriented system by using information technologies and etc. that are related to the development of digital libraries will be discussed at the lecture.  

The lecture will be delivered by Vittore Casarosa, Professor at the Department of Electronic-Humanitarian Sciences of the University of Pisa. The Georgian translation will be provided.
