On November 30, 12:00, Georgia's  Minister of Penitentiary, Probation and Legal Assistance Khatuna Kalmakhelidze  will meet students of Ilia State University at G106 (Venue: G.Tsereteli str. 3).

The main sense and goals of the meeting are:

Ms. Kalmakhelidze will familiarize the audience with news, ongoing projects and plans being implemented by the Ministry of Penitentiary, Probation and Legal Assistance within the framework of the ten-point plan. 

The 10-point Plan aims at creating new jobs, reducing a rate of unemployment and providing economic development. For that reason, the ministry will take care for people after being released from the prison to be educated, employed and integrated into the labor market. For implementing the above-mentioned goals, several education houses have been put in action. They have a possibility to learn some occupations and obtain crucial skills. In addition, the rehabilitation and employment  related activities are actively being implemented. The ministry will provide a development of the free-of-charge legal consultation services, accessibility to penitential health care service and its quality progress.
