From 17 through 19 December 2020, ISU Grigol Tsereteli Institute of Oriental Studies holds an online conference on The Middle East and the Caucasus. Culture, History, Politics. The conference will summarize the work of the Institute in 2020. The papers to be delivered at the conference will dwell on historical and cultural relations between the Caucasus and the Middle East, Eastern languages and literature, and various aspects of the processes currently unfolding in the Middle East. Apart from the academics of the Institute, the conference will bring together representatives of different Georgian universities and research centers as well as foreign researchers from Austria, Belorussia, Germany, Italy, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Poland, Russia, Switzerland, and Ukraine.
