On October 5, 16:00, Ilia State University (Hall A 101, Chavchavadze Ave. 32) will host a screening of the film “The Response”. The film has already been screened at US Law Schools, Bar Associations and etc.

The discussion around the film will be facilitated by South Texas College of Law Dean Donald J. Guter who has a unique connection to the topic raised in the film. Mr. Guter will share his experience with Georgian audience.  The film will be screened within the framework of Judicial Independence and Legal Empowerment Project (JILEP) run by the East-West Management Institute. Georgian justice and security experts will be invited as well.

The film is 30 minutes in length. According to the film scene, three military officers must decide the fate of a suspected enemy combatant; whether the evidence presented is credible or not.  For information about the film, please visit: www.theresponsemovie.com.
