Europe and Caucasus - Identity Problem

On October 28-29, Ilia State University (Hall A 101 and A 103, Chavchavadze Ave. 32) will host an international scientific conference dedicated to “Europe and Caucasus-Regional Relationships and Identity Problem”.

12 foreign scientists, professors and academicians (seven from France and five from Armenia) will participate in the conference in company with the Georgian scientists.

The conference aims to contribute to the study of the complex topic covering individual, collective, language, cultural, religion, political or national identities. The conference will highlight how the identities of Georgians and Armenians were constructed along with their permanent efforts to integrate into EU structures throughout the centuries.

The working languages of the conference are Georgian, French and English.
