On May 23, 11:30, Ilia State University Hall A 101 (Chavchavdze Ave. 32) will host a meeting with Emil Orzechowski, Professor at Jagiellonian University in Krakow and Specialist of Theatre and Culture Management.  The meeting is organized within the framework of the international conference by Ilia State University Arts Research Institute with support of Poland Embassy in Georgia. Emil Orzechowski, Editor-in-chief of the international journal “Culture Management”, will deliver the lectures dedicated to the topics: “Culture Management and Culture Policy” and “Memory is our Power”.

Attendance is free. The lecture will be accompanied by Georgian translation. 

Emil Orzechowski-Doctor of Philosophy, Professor at Jagiellonian University in Krakow and Chairman of Culture Management course. Mr.  Orzechowski is a visiting professor at Stanford University, University of Buffalo and delivers lectures on history and culture of Poland, Poland language and European theatre. In 1995, he established a new academic discipline-Culture Management. In 1996-2002, he was a dean of the newly established Department of Management and Social Communications. Mr. Orzechowski is an author of eleven books and editor of the cycle of the lectures on culture policy for ambassadors. Currently, he is an editor-in-chief of the international trilingual (English, German and Poland languages) journal “Culture Management”.
