"Education and the Holocaust" - International Holocaust Remembrance Day

The Public Defender of Georgia and the Tolerance Center operating under it, in cooperation with Ilia State University, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and the National Council of Jewish Women will hold an event for students in dedication to the International Holocaust Remembrance Day in the G 106 auditorium of Ilia State University on January 27, at 15:00.

The theme of the 2023 International Day is “Education and the Holocaust”.

The meeting will be opened with greetings from the Rector of Ilia State University, the representative of the Public Defender's Office, the head of the Tolerance Center, the Ambassador of Israel to Georgia, the representative of the USAID Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance Office and the head of the National Council of Jewish Women.

At the meeting, psychologist Natia Panjikidze will review Viktor Frankl's book “Yes to Life”.

The event will be held by the Tolerance Center operating under the Public Defender of Georgia with the support of the USAID program “Unity Through Diversity”, which is implemented by the United Nations Association of Georgia.
