On April 8, at 17:00, at lecture hall A101, the archbishop of the Church of Wittenberg, Doctor Yuli, will deliver the public lecture: The role of the church and religious unions in the process of cooperation with the state and civil societies. The event is organised by Savle Tsereteli Institute of Philosophy of the Ilia State University.

Regarding the rapporteur:

In 1975-1980, Doctor Yuli studied Evangelical theology in Tübingen and Vienna. In 1983, he served as a research assisstant on the theological faculty of Heidelberg University, with the subject area of philosophy of religion. On March 10, 2005, Evangelic regional Synod of Wittenberg appointed him as archbishop of Wittenberg regional church.

In 2010, Yuli became a vice-president of Lutheran World Federation.
